De engel van Heemstede (The angel of Heemstede), 2006, polyester and paint
The angel of Heemstede was made especially for the outside project of Ateliers 195-197 in Heemstede called "wind objects". This little angel is placed on a thin iron stick, so that it swayes and swings in all directions according to the wind. The sculpture itself is about 18 cm. high and made of polyester on a PU-foam model. The finishing is made of glossy spray paint, giving the piece a soft and butter-like appaerance.
